WELCOME!

Max Skousen, 1921-2002After "entering into the rest" a number of years earlier, Max finally "went home" on November 16, 2002. Ordinarily, one might take that to mean that he now must (at last!) actually BE "at rest" -- but since he is Max, after all, we just can't be too sure... ;^)

For those of you who may have missed his going away celebration, you may want to read the obituary as it appeared in the Deseret News and in the Salt Lake Tribune. If you haven't already, you are also invited to sign the guest book there and leave a few words in his memory and honor.

In any case, his work is still here for us to remember, enjoy, and share -- which you are invited to join us in doing. Please feel free to post your thoughts and feelings, and especially any stories, anecdotes, remembrances, experiences, occurrences, insights, etc., that relate to Max and his work. If you are currently doing anything with his work (like conducting study groups or facilitating RFAs) please let us know about that, too. And if you happen to have any of his writings, audio or video recordings, or photos of him that we don't have available here, please share them as well. And thank you for joining us. If we start having a really good time here, we have no doubt he'll be joining us, too.

Who's up for an RFA Workshop?

We've had a number of people asking about RFAs. Some have expressed a desire to be the subject of an RFA, while others want to learn how to do them. We think the best way to answer both requests is to schedule a workshop where we can teach the process to all who attend and then have them practice on each other, just like Max used to do.

While we don't have a firm date or location yet, we're looking at setting it up here in Salt Lake City on a weekend in late January or early February.

We'll try to do it at no cost, but we may need to ask for some small donations just to cover whatever facility and other expenses we end up having. We'll also plan on having printed copies of Max's materials available for those who want to purchase them.

So, what do you all think?  In favor?  Not?  Please let us know.  We're just looking for preliminary indications of interest at this point, by the way -- no hard and fast commitments.  But please tell us if this is something you'd…
