WELCOME!

Max Skousen, 1921-2002After "entering into the rest" a number of years earlier, Max finally "went home" on November 16, 2002. Ordinarily, one might take that to mean that he now must (at last!) actually BE "at rest" -- but since he is Max, after all, we just can't be too sure... ;^)

For those of you who may have missed his going away celebration, you may want to read the obituary as it appeared in the Deseret News and in the Salt Lake Tribune. If you haven't already, you are also invited to sign the guest book there and leave a few words in his memory and honor.

In any case, his work is still here for us to remember, enjoy, and share -- which you are invited to join us in doing. Please feel free to post your thoughts and feelings, and especially any stories, anecdotes, remembrances, experiences, occurrences, insights, etc., that relate to Max and his work. If you are currently doing anything with his work (like conducting study groups or facilitating RFAs) please let us know about that, too. And if you happen to have any of his writings, audio or video recordings, or photos of him that we don't have available here, please share them as well. And thank you for joining us. If we start having a really good time here, we have no doubt he'll be joining us, too.

How about a reunion this summer?

Anyone interested in creating a reunion for Max Skousen Friends this summer? It would be great to share our experiences since the trainings and how our lives have changed, what we are doing now, and how Spirit has led us to new experiences. We could do RFAs on each other and do a Connected Breathing group process. Anyone in Utah with a home big enough that we could use it for a two day reunion? I would be happy to help in the organization and facilitation part if we could have someone to host an… Continue

RFA Facilitators

> Are there any groups that are organized that still teach the RFAs? I have been facilitating people for many years and doing other energy work with friends and family also. I call my process M.A.R.S. which stands for Multi-dimensional Aspect Retrieval System. My group in Las Vegas practiced the RFA process for years and it seemed to keep leading us into Past-Lives. We knew that Max really did not believe in that, but our experiences were pervasive and undeniable. As we allowed ourselves to m… Continue

Life's Word

Max said that this little book, "Life's Word", was the most PURE writing he had ever read. It continues to be a source of wonderment to me. At different times in my life when I read in its pages, I seem to find new comprehension, new answers to my questions, new things to ponder and other things to resist anew. I have since found other writings that I feel certain are from the same unknown author. These are, "The Impersonal Life" and "The Way Out". Does anyone know anything about these other boo… Continue

Gratitude and LOVE

How grateful I am to whomever sent me an invitation to join this site. I have read all of the posts here and feel as if I have found my long lost family. I first read Book One in 1993 at a time when I was going through a lot of changes in my perceptions of life. I have experienced MANY miracles in my life because of Max and his gift of writing and sharing his notions and experiences. He helped me build my own bridge from traditional Mormonism to a life of higher consciousness, LOVE and gratitude… Continue
